I spotted this bird at the side of the road as we drove by. I wasn’t entirely sure I could count it, but since it is a breeding bird in Florida (an established exotic), these birds are ABA countable here.
August 6, 2017: Roberts Lake, Rohnert Park, CA
(Cairina moschata var. domestica)I saw this bird at the side of the lake near the dog park, so not obviously a pet or farm animal. Could have escaped from somewhere, though.
