May 13, 2011: Kelso Dunes
We managed to get a close look at several very attractive Zebra-tailed Lizards, including one large male who displayed aggressively.
May 13, 2022: Bajada site, Kelbaker Road
This lizard was spotted from the car as we drove slowly along one of the dirt roads that criss-cross the Bajada. It sat nicely while I took a few photos, but as soon as we got out of the car, it dashed away. So pretty.
